Small and stale atmosphere. Full of older men I suppose that's usual of Wetherspoons. Would go back for a quick lunch but wouldn't take the kids in there.
Stopped in on Thursday Curry Club, a good option if you want a cheap curry and a beer for 7.35, however, don't be expecting a curry house standard. Has some nice seated booth, AMEX friendly.
Nice to see that it has been updated down stairs and toilet facilities freshen... yes it's MENT to be a family friendly!!! But not define area... so only 3 stars
Atmosphere always welcoming, bar staff pleasent and professional. Dropped in for quick supper, served very quickly and very good value, quality of fish very good. Scott pie over cooked pastry hard possible over microwaved or maybe keeper to long warm. Waitress asked if everything was ok, I smiled told her to inform chef, saying it wasn't a complaint just a professional observation. Still very good valve and would happily use established again.
This place is always warm, friendly and sometimes very busy. The food is seldom hot but mostly warm and represents good value for money. You are never rushed out of the place and the staff are friendly. The coffee is self service, however, it's good and once you have your mug you can have as many free top ups as you like. At 1.25 it is the cheapest coffee/tea in town. The seating arrangements make it difficult to manoeuvre wheel chairs or push chairs. It does have a feel good atmosphere though!
