Very unpleasant older male behind the till. Looked very forward to making the trip to.buy whisky but instead the guy is a simple a*s*hole.
Terrible people to work for. They do not care about their staff whatsoever, nor do they do much to retain their staff. A lot of responsibility and tasks were expected of us for minimum wage. With some staff, shifts were reduced without prior notice and we were all usually paid late. Payslips were also given well after payday. Any overtime was not paid. The "manageress" is two faced and manipulative. Constant micromanaging or mean and nasty remarks. Furthermore, we were constantly being watched through CCTV and a lot of favouritism took place. I was treated like something you wipe off your shoe. Additionally, some products were sold well past their best before date and the fridge was never cold enough. Disgusting. Lastly, we were expected to keep the place clean and tidy, yet no cleaning materials were provided. Money for this was taken from extra change from customers and not given to charity. No integrity whatsoever. This company is a disgrace.
