Really nice hotel. Friendly faces on arrival at reception. Our twin room and en suite looked like they'd recently been re-furbished. Nice and spotless. Ensuite could do with another towel rail.We opted for the high tea last night which had quite a good choice of mains. Couldn't actually finish the scones and cakes as it was too much food. Very nice breakfast this morning. My sister had actually stayed here last weekend too while visiting and has eaten here on several occasions. I would return.
Excellent Went for lunch and sat in the conservatory area. Nicely decorated, comfortable and good atmosphere. There is also a brilliant colourful planted garden area to the rear with water feature and outdoor seating. Perfect for a cool pint on a hot day. Food was excellent, I would definitely recommend to others.
