Good location but need more live music
Elgin's Town Hall is a good venue for shows and social events. As it is not a theatre, there is no "proper" room for shows, so it lacks a bit of comfort. The acoustics are quite good. The place is large, so it can welcome a good number of people. Regarding the events taking place there, I would say it is diversified, so you are sure to find something that you like !
Good location and reasonable facility for assembly.
Despite being a tired building the caretakers do a great job of keeping it clean and tidy and there is a wide range of excellent events at it. Great sound, good performance spaces. Building a bit dated though.
