Eaten in here a few times and have to say, it's never disappointed. Friendly, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere is served along-side the delicious food and great choice of drinks. Can't wait to come back and see the next surprise on the menu
The food is tasty. I opted for a delicious soup and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was nice enough, but not the best (that prize goes to Wild Cat in Fort William). After that I also ordered a plate of beetroot falafel with hummus and some other goodies. Usually, I'm irritated by the default vegan food being falafel, but the BEETROOT made all the difference and is definitely worth a try if they're still serving it.Now, before leaving make sure to grab one of their cakes as they're delicious. I might have had a few too many of the chocolate ones (don't worry, I walked it off).The cafe is well fitted out with a few interesting quirks. The bathroom sports an original (manufactured in Aberdeen) cast iron water cistern from 1903 (why do I remember this?). Pretty cool I say.Staff are helpful and friendly.In other words, it's a place I'd go back to :)
Very rustic cafe with a host of varying and wonderfully unorthodox cuisine! Been twice now and I love it so much.
Amazing vegan food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Totally recommend. Would be great if they were to open later/on Fridays too.
